MIXXMIX 아티스트 콜라보 프로젝트 인터뷰

MIX X Heo Charming

1990년 서울에서 태어난 그녀. 어린 시절 홈스쿨을 운영하고 미술 교육을 하던 어머니의 영향을 받아 그림을그리기 시작했다. 전형적인 십대 사고뭉치였던 그녀는 캐나다에서 1년 반동안 Halifax west high school을 다니던 도중 귀국하고 한국에 정착한다. 한국에 머물면서 그녀는 캐나다에서 Textile로 유명한 Nascad University에서 어린 학생들을 위한 수업을 들으며 자연스레 의상학과 전공을 희망하게 되고, 건국대에 진학해 의상 디자인을 공부. 대학교 3학년에 재학중인 그녀는 김꽃비 주연의 독립영화 의상 담당을 맡았고2012-2013년에는 크리미 스쿱, 비하이브 복합문화공간(태초에 빛이 있었다)에서의 2번의 전시를 가졌다. 현재 1년 동안 휴학기간을 갖고 그림을 그녀만의 방식으로 PLAY하는데 주력하고 있다.

Born in 1990 in Noryangjin area. She had a mother who was an artist herself and an art teacher as well. Justbecause of her mother, she was influenced to create art at her young age. Later on, she became a typical-troubled teenager while she was attending Halifax west high school in Canada. For that reason, she came backto korea with her mother. While she was staying in korea, she had a chance to attend opening session whichwas provided by Nascad University of Canada for high-schoolers who are possibly interested in applying forthe university in the future. After she attended that session, she became having a desire to study fashion design.Therefore, she applied for several universities in Seoul such as Kuk-min university, Kyung-hee university andKun-kuk university. she chose Kun-kuk university and studied fashion design for three years. So far she hasdone styling for the actress ‘Kim Kotbee’ for appearance in the independent movie. Moreover, she had herown exhibiton twice in several galleries which are ‘Creamy Scoop’ in Sinsa-dong and ‘Behive ComplexCultural Space’ in Apgoojeong. Now, She is having a year break from school. However, she keep focusingon art and playing it in her own way.
